Pursing a PhD in Educational Psychology
My time at Baylor University stretched me to question and to recognize that questions signal engagement, and my time there also taught me the value of loving God with my mind. My time at Hardin-Simmons continued to stretch me as I could immediately take my studies and invest in my growth and then apply those studies to my students as a teacher. The experiences at both universities helped shape my desire to one day be a professor and mentor students the way I was mentored.
