Division of Graduate Writing
The Division of Graduate Writing (DGW), formerly known as the Graduate Writing Center, provides writing support for all Baylor graduate students and faculty and is supported by the Graduate School. As a part of the Center for Writing Excellence, our writing center offers support through two main avenues: 1) one-on-one writing consultations (in-person and online) for graduate and faculty writers and 2) regular workshops on a variety of writing and research topics, including our annual Dissertation Lab. We also collaborate with graduate faculty on tailored workshops and guest lectures and offer a variety of online resources.
During our writing consultations, our consultants – all Ph.D. students/candidates – provide feedback on projects at any stage of the composition process. Writers may submit any type of document for review including seminar papers and class assignments, papers intended for publication, job application materials, and thesis and dissertation chapters. You may schedule an appointment and upload your documents online at baylor.mywconline.com. Simply create an account and select the Graduate/Faculty schedule.
