Pursuing a PhD in Preaching
During my undergraduate journey at Samford University, I was fortunate to be immersed in an environment where academic excellence and a strong commitment to the community coexisted harmoniously. The incredible faculty at Samford not only nurtured my intellectual appetite but also ignited a passion for service to the local church. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in preaching to support local pastors who have not been afforded the amazing educational experiences that I have.
My research area explores the rich preaching tradition of the Black church, Black church history, and homiletical theory. My time at Baylor has been a transformative experience that empowers me to continue pursuing my academic and spiritual aspirations with unwavering zeal.
