Pursuing a PhD in Religion

My experiences at Ouachita Baptist University continue to shape my identity as a Baptist, educator, and lifelong learner. Even now, as I reflect on the faculty, staff, and student body, I am inspired by Ouachita’s stalwart dedication to fostering authentic devotion to God within the fruitful environment of academic development. During my time enrolled at Ouachita, my professors in particular served as dependable guides for myself and others, spurring students towards their vocational callings with infectious enthusiasm and care. It is this animated commitment to Christ-like education that galvanizes me to do the same for my own students in the future, and for that reason, I will always be grateful for the support of my OBU family.
