Alana A. Schaeper

As the Associate Director of Academic Operations, Alana oversees a broad range of academic processes that are essential to supporting student success and institutional integrity. Her responsibilities include managing graduate certification, academic standing (probation and dismissal), degree planning, transfer credit evaluations, course substitutions, degree and grade changes, catalog updates, academic calendar review, and policy development and oversight.

Alana leads a dedicated team that includes our Dissertation and Thesis Coordinator and our Academic Operations & Student Payroll Coordinator. Together, they ensure that student records are accurate, timely, and compliant with institutional and accreditation standards. Her goal is to create efficient, student-centered processes that support both academic progress and operational excellence.

Before her role as Associate Director, she held the titles of Admissions Specialist and Enrollment Management Specialist within the Graduate School

Alana earned a B.A. in University Studies, with concentrations in Communication Studies, Sociology, and Human Development & Family Studies, from Texas Tech University.
