Faculty Writing Feedback

The Graduate Writing Center offers consultations for faculty as well as graduate students. We are happy to provide feedback and a second set of eyes on publications in progress, conference papers, abstracts, and other work. Please use the request form on our website to request a consultation and indicate what kind of feedback you'd like. (Please note that we do not provide copyediting services.)

Orientation Appearances

The GWC is happy to send a representative to department-specific orientations to give students an overview of our services. If you would like to request an appearance at your department's orientation, please email gwc@baylor.edu.

Graduate Writing Workshops

Baylor's Graduate Writing Consultants organize and lead workshops for graduate students at large, but we can also offer tailored workshops for graduate students in specific departments. If you would like us to offer a workshop for your department, please email gwc@baylor.edu.

Sample Text to Be Included in Graduate Syllabi

The Graduate Writing Center offers free writing consultations with any writing project at any stage. Consultants are all experienced, published doctoral students from a variety of disciplines, and you will be placed with a consultant from a discipline similar to your own. Consultants will read your work ahead of your appointment and prepare written feedback that you will then discuss during your consultation.
