Pursuing a PhD in Religion

My time at Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School put me in the midst of the full swath of the Christian tradition, but it did so with strong Baptist support. I became friends with several professors and students, some of whom I expect to remain close with for the rest of my life, and the lessons they taught me have carried me through my time as a Ph.D. student at Baylor thus far. As a way to pay it forward, I hope to use my time as a BCU scholar to strengthen both my calling to represent Baptist theological convictions and also see them as conversation partners in the larger Christian and academic world.
